Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 15 June 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Dwel web application and voice companion (the Service). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Dwel AI Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 15899996), with registered office at 45 Albemarle Street, Mayfair, London, England, W1S 4JL.

1. About the Service

Dwel is a voice-first AI companion that helps visitors explore and understand their location. The Service is intended for general information, guidance, and engagement.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you are aged 13 or over. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

3. How the Service works

  • Speech recognition to convert spoken words into text.
  • Information retrieval from place-verified knowledge.
  • Language generation through AI models.
  • Speech synthesis for spoken responses.

4. Microphone and voice input

If you choose to speak, your browser will request microphone access. Audio is captured while you actively hold or trigger talk controls.

Raw audio recordings are not retained after transcription. You can use typed input instead and can revoke microphone permissions in your browser or device settings.

5. AI content limitations

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You should independently verify any information you depend on, including opening hours, accessibility, directions, safety details, and prices.

6. Conversation data

To operate and improve the Service, we store conversation text on an anonymised basis where possible.

Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for unlawful or harmful activity.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer systems.
  • Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or rights-infringing content.
  • Do not use the Service to build competing products.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, software, branding, and related assets are owned by Dwel or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Services may be changed or discontinued.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Subject to applicable law, Dwel is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from reliance on AI-generated responses.

11. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party providers and may reference third- party content. Dwel is not responsible for third-party services.

12. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
